Lynn Weaver

As Head of Human Resources, Lynn is responsible for Yazaki’s Human Resources organization, including attracting, retaining and developing talented employees within the company; implementing a standardized talent review processes; and launching a regional compensation program. She is also responsible for the organization’s Communications, Corporate Affairs, Security, and facilities management.

Joining Yazaki as Director, Associate Relations in 2001, Lynn is one of the highest-ranking women executives in the corporation, and has led initiatives focused on work environment, recognition, resource planning and staffing, and employee development. She also established a performance management program and succession planning process that identifies employees for advancement into key executive and managerial positions in the company.

Prior to joining Yazaki, Lynn was Director of Human Resources at Federal Mogul, Aftermarket. She began her career at Xerox Corporation where she worked for 26 years holding numerous leadership positions. With more than 30 years of experience in Human Resources, Lynn has managed a major organizational design change impacting more than 30,000 employees, managed regional compensation for 4,000 employees, and served on a national team that centralized Human Resources administrative functions for more than 60 locations.

Lynn earned a Bachelor of Science in Labor & Industrial Relations and an MBA from Michigan State University. She has held board positions with the internationally renowned Garth Fagan Dance company (Choreographer of The Lion King), the Canton Community Foundation, Wayne State University Board of Visitors (Office of International Programs), and currently the Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History. She is a member of the NAACP, Links, the Urban League, and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority. Additionally, Lynn is also a member of Inforum and a board member of Inforum Center for Leadership Advisory Council.
